Fantasy on top - Top 3 F/W 2014/15 fashion shows

Talking about F/W fashion shows, I have to admit that I love them.
Winter is my favorite season, I'm totally in love with cold weather, snow, sweaters, thick tights and boots. For all those reasons (and the fact that the latest fashion shows have been sooo great) I decided to create a Top3 list of the F/W fashion shows that I loved most.
It's not a surprise at all the fact that I picked up three "fantasy themed" fashion shows, and it's not a surprise too that one of the designers that I've chosen is Alexander McQueen.
Moving forward, the list is composed by:

1 - Dolce&Gabbana Fall/Winter 2014/15 Women Fashion Show
2 - Alexander McQueen Fall/Winter 2014/15 RTW Women Fashion Show
3 - Elie Saab Fall/Winter 2014/15 Couture Women Fashion Show

Se si parla di sfilate invernali, devo ammettere che le ho sempre amate.

L'inverno è la mia stagione preferita, sono innamorata del freddo, della neve, di maglioni, calze grosse e stivali.

Per tutti questi motivi (e in aggiunta il fatto che le ultime sfilate di quest'anno sono state davvero, davvero interessanti) ho deciso di creare una Top3, composta dalle tre sfilate autunno/inverno che ho più amato.

Non sono affatto sorpresa di aver scelto tre sfilate con tema più o meno fantasy, e non sono nemmeno sorpresa dal fatto che uno dei tre marchi che ho scelto sia Alexander McQueen.

La mia top3 è composta da:

1 - Dolce&Gabbana Autunno/Inverno 2014/15 Sfilata Donna
2 - Alexander McQueen Autunno/Inverno 2014/15 Sfilata Donna prêt-à-porter
3 - Elie Saab Autunno/Inverno 2014/15 Sfilata Donna Couture

Dolce&Gabbana

This fashion show has strangely stunned me, because recently I was getting a little bit bored with all the "Old Sicily" themed stuff that D&G started to design yeeeears ago.
That time, I have to admit, that this change they made was like fresh air for me!

Questa sfilata mi ha stranamente sorpresa, poiché recentemente mi stavo incominciando ad annoiare un pochino a causa dello stile "vecchia sicilia" che D&G avevano iniziato ad adottare da qualche anno a questa parte.
Questa volta, devo ammetterlo, il cambio (seppur piccolo) di stile che hanno adottato è stato come una ventata aria fresca per me.

Alexander McQueen

For his entire life, Alexander McQueen has always been my favorite fashion designer above all of them. After his death, the "Alexander McQueen" brand had obviously some trouble and for a while I thought the group was getting lost. But they managed the terrible situation in which they were. They made it out. Almost all the new collection after Alexander's death have been great, and this one is certainly one of my favorites.

Per tutta la sua vita, Alexander McQueen è sempre stato il mio stilista preferito. Dopo la sua morte, il marchio ha ovviamente passato un periodo non felice, e per un po' ho pensato che l'intero gruppo si stesse smarrendo. Ma tutti hanno saputo gestire la terribile situazione in cui erano, ce l'hanno fatta. Praticamente tutte le collezioni create dopo la morte di Alexander sono state ottime, e questa è certamente una delle mie preferite.

Elie Saab

The brand known as "Elie Saab" or simply "ES" is famous for it's luxurious elegance.

The Couture fashion show of this winter has been as a snow and icy dream.

The final result is obviously great, and the models have been transformed in real Snow Queens.

Il marchio conosciuto come "Elie Saab" o semplicemente "ES" è famoso per la sua sontuosa eleganza. Lo show di Haute Couture di questo inverno è stato come un sogno di ghiaccio e neve.

Il risultato finale è ovviamente stato impeccabile, e le modelle sono state trasformate in vere regine della neve.

Finally the first South African video

Hi everyone!

Finally I uploaded the first video of my South African adventure.

Sadly, I couldn't upload videos while I was there. For this reason I'm not going to upload one video for each day. It doesn't matter anymore! I'm going to upload some random stuff.. Cool things that happened, a trailer and than a whole, longer video. Meanwhile, hope you'll enjoy this video of the first day at rhino and lion natural reserve near Johannesburg!

Ho caricato il video del primo giorno. In realtà dovevo caricare un video ogni due giorni durante la vacanza.. Ma non ho mai trovato il wifi quindi non mi è stato possibile. Avevo comunque già montato questo, quindi ho deciso di caricarlo lo stesso. Nei prossimi giorni caricherò un po' di video riguardanti gli episodi più belli, una specie di trailer della vacanza ed a seguire il vero e proprio video un po' più lungo.
Comunque.. Ci tengo a precisare che il primo giorno eravamo stanchissimi quindi abbiamo cercato di fare una cosa un po' più "soft" rispetto ai giorni seguenti. Il parco del video si occupa del recupero di molti animali feriti, che a seconda delle loro situazioni vengono poi o rimandati in libertà o tenuti dal parco. Gli animali del parco che vediamo dalla macchina sono selvaggi, ma i predatori sono divisi dagli erbivori, per cui vengono nutriti dall'uomo. Non è un vero e proprio parco naturale.

First day traveling - South Africa

Today we arrived in Bologna airport at 5.00 pm, and we took the airplane to Frankfurt at 7.10pm. I'm currently in Frankfurt now, on the plane directed to Johannesburg, waiting. This flight is going to last 10 hours. Fortunately I have the Tv in front of my sit, I think I'll watch "The Lego movie" again, or something else. I don't really know. Also, I have my laptop with me, in which I have other films, so I think that is going to be fine!

I think I've found my first film.

Well, sadly for now that's all I have to say!

Armani Couture 2014/15 makeup

Hi everyone :)

I am now at the airport attending my flight to Johannesburg. Meanwhile I thought that show you this tutorial would have been interesting for you and for me too, because I'm sitted here alone from 30 minutes with nothing interesting to do.

Sono all'areoporto ad aspettare il mio volo per Johannesburg. Ho pensato che scrivere un post su questo tutorial che ho pubblicato su youtube qualche giorno fa, sarebbe stato interessante sia per voi che per me, dato che sono seduta qui da sola almeno da 30 minuti senza nulla di interessante da fare.

This look is quick and easy to do, perfect not just for a runway but also for a night out or, if you are a makeup addicted, why not wearing it for some shopping with friends?

Honestly, I went to the shopping center with a friend of mine after this tutorial.

Il trucco è veloce e facile da fare, perfetto non solo per una serata fuori casa ma anche, perché no, per un pomeriggio di shopping con le amiche (se siete interessate al makeup e non avete problemi ad osare).

Hi everyone!

Yesterday I finally finished editing the montage of this video.

This, is the tutorial of the makeup used for the last Chanel Fall/Winter Haute Couture fashion show. Hope you'll like it! I also think that this type of makeup would be wearable too for example for a night out with friends or a dinner with family.
